Behind the scenes of every smiling camper face we share, is a Lions Club working hard to help send kids to camp. From fundraising to help keep costs low for campers, to physically volunteering to clean the camp grounds, we wouldn’t exist without our Lions Clubs.
In May, 43 Lions and community members came together to get Camp Winfield ready for summer camp which starts next weekend! Like they do every year, they joined together to get everything in shape for campers from cleaning the kitchen and windows, to weeding flower beds, to repairing the fence, cleaning up the BBQ area, arts and crafts sorting and raking… so much raking!
Thank you to all our Lions for your amazing dedication and commitment to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Here’s to another 75 years!
